Hello! I’m Stephen Bakerman, an on-location Portrait, Pets, Sports, and Special Occasion photographer based out of Mission, British Columbia, Canada.

I got my start in photography in 1980 with my first film camera and loved photgraphy so much so, that I built a darkroom to process my film and print my photographs in colour and black & white. My late uncle was a profesional photographer who taught me the skills and techniques to take my work to the next level. I am so grateful for his guidance, teachings, and patience over the years and I honour him with each photo I take. Without the support of my family and friends, I would not be the photographer I am today.

I have always loved nature photography but when my daughter began playing softball in 2016, what began as way to support her team, turned into a business. Growing up, I chose computers over sports and would never have thought I would be the sports photographer I am today.

I believe that one can never gain enough experience and I welcome new oppoutunities, whether it be a new sport, event, pet, etc.
